Tools: Tool Structure Tortoise Large Handle Comb, Salon Care Colored 3 Inch Butterfly Clamps, slip™ for beauty sleep ‘Slipsilk™’ Pure Silk Pillowcase, Goody Simple Styles Spin Pins, Sally Shear Mist Trigger Sprayer (optional)

Method:

  1. Squeeze your microfiber towel or old t-shirt to remove excess water
  2. Remove your towel or t-shirt
  3. Apply your leave-in conditioner and/or setting lotion, starting from the ears down
  4. Comb your hair with your wide-toothed comb to detangle and distribute all of the product through
  5. Section your hair into four parts and secure with hair clips
  6. Take down one section
  7. Spray your hair using your water bottle if it becomes dry as you work. Your hair should be damp, but not wet
  8. Use your fingers to coil your hair, but be careful not to snag or rip your hair
  9. Repeat steps 6 through 9 until the whole head has been coiled
  10. Allow your hair to air dry or sit under a hooded dryer until your hair is completely dry
  11. Loosely style using your fingers
  12. Finish with shine spray (optional)

Night:

  1. Put your hair in a loose bun or ponytail using bobby pins or spin pins
  2. Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase

Morning:

  1. Use your spray bottle to wet and refresh your hairstyle if necessary
  2. Style using your fingers
  3. Finish shine spray (optional)

Note: Your styling products should contain either no silicones or water-soluble silicones to allow for easy removal and prevent buildup. Also, using organic or natural products are ideal.
